Tal Tchwella

Head of Product, Payments, and Builder Experience, Mysten Labs

Tal Tchwella is Head of Product, Payments, and Builder Experience at Mysten Labs. He also leads Mysten's AI workstreams. He brings over 15 years of product and engineering experience across crypto, fintech, and cybersecurity.

Prior to Mysten, Tal led product initiatives as Head of Product at Solana Labs, running an internal incubation function that took ideas from concept to launch, through spinning up business units. He launched the company's first revenue-generating products in commerce and games, owning discovery through go-to-market, and worked on Seeker, Solana's mobile phone. Before that, Tal spent time at Meta leading crypto initiatives for the Diem blockchain, native NFT support for Facebook and Instagram, and the Move smart contract language. Tal has also founded two companies: GoodLight, a workforce risk analytics platform that raised venture capital to build ML-powered continuous monitoring for post-hire workforce risk, and a cybersecurity company serving government clients, which he scaled to over $10M in sales and 20+ employees before a successful exit.

Tal holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, both from MIT.
