Talus, the next-gen platform for onchain AI agents, is joining forces with Sui, the only blockchain built for mass adoption. Designed for those pushing onchain innovation to the limit, Talus empowers developers to launch tokenized AI agents, automate trading strategies, and engineer autonomous economies that operate 24/7.

By leveraging Sui’s high-speed, low-cost infrastructure, Talus provides the ultimate battleground for Talus AI agents to evolve, optimize, and make plays in real time. As part of this initiative, Talus will launch Nexus, its onchain agentic framework and debut its AI consumer platform, Idol.fun, on Sui.

Talus is shaping the future of AI agents across DeFAI, GameFAI, SocialFAI and AI DAOs, with the mission of uniting their community in building AI agents that revolutionize digital experiences. Sui’s parallel execution engine allows Talus AI agents to redefine onchain AI by operating with real-time decision-making, onchain transparency, and scaling to support millions of users without sacrificing decentralization or security. Through its Nexus framework, Talus enables developers to build composable AI agents that execute workflows directly onchain, enabling secure, transparent, and verifiable AI automation.

In addition to integrating with Sui, Talus selected Walrus as its default decentralized storage platform. Walrus, a decentralized storage protocol that allows any application to publish, read, and program any data type onchain, can support Talus in a number of ways, including:

  • Storage of large AI models, which need to be stored offchain in order to avoid slowing down the network. By storing on Walrus, a Talus AI agent managing DeFi liquidity strategies, for example, can fetch and load its model instantly for the agents’ use, enabling real-time response to liquidity needs.
  • Data retrieval for decision making, as AI agents require constant access to datasets like market sentiment, DeFi protocol stats, and social media trends. When AI Bae uses Walrus to store and retrieve dynamic datasets about Bae profiles, these profiles inform the agent’s behaviors for interactions with their users.
  • Trusted onchain history for AI agents, which is required for the agents to audit, formulate strategies or train new models. A Talus agent specialized in detecting fraud would use  Walrus to store and analyze historical transaction patterns on Sui, identifying anomalies in real-time.

Walrus, the latest innovation from Mysten Labs, the original contributor to Sui, launched on Testnet in October 2024, with Mainnet slated for Q1 of this year.

“This partnership with Sui is a game-changer, bringing real-time AI automation to DeFi, gaming, and beyond.” Mike Hanono, CEO and Co-Founder of Talus states, “Sui Move is also the perfect foundation for AI-driven consumer applications. With AI Bae and Idol.fun, we’re redefining onchain engagement, blending speculation, entertainment, and automation. At the core of it all is Nexus, our onchain agentic framework, alongside Walrus giving developers the tools to build, deploy, and scale AI agents seamlessly.”

“AI automation is one of Web3’s most groundbreaking frontiers, and Talus is leading the charge,” said Rebecca Simmonds, Managing Executive at Walrus Foundation. “By leveraging Sui’s high-speed infrastructure and our programmable and decentralized storage solution, Talus is creating a seamless environment for AI-driven applications. With Walrus, their AI agents can store and retrieve data securely, efficiently, and fully onchain—empowering Talus to redefine onchain engagement and benefit the entire Sui ecosystem.”
