Sui is launching USDsui, a native stablecoin built using Bridge’s Open Issuance platform. This new infrastructure will power the next phase of growth as Sui scales into one of the world’s most active onchain economies.

USDsui is designed to serve as a foundational stablecoin for the Sui network. It offers builders a fully integrated, compliant-ready solution that is interoperable across Bridge’s ecosystem and optimized for Sui’s high-performance architecture.

At launch, it will be accessible across wallets, DeFi protocols, and applications built on Sui. USDsui will also be interoperable with other stablecoins powered by Bridge from major platforms such as Phantom, Hyperliquid, and MetaMask.

Built by Trusted Partners for Sui Developers and End Users

Bridge’s Open Issuance platform allows USDsui to launch as a custom stablecoin built with enterprise-grade infrastructure from day one. Bridge’s approach gives USDsui a useful combination of onchain liquidity and sustainability, real-world payment utility for users, and the ability to perform seamless cross-border payments, remittances, and peer-to-peer transfers.

USDsui is also a developer-friendly, turnkey stablecoin solution for any team building on Sui, including projects building on Sui’s native liquidity layer, Deepbook, to robust in-game economies like the ones found in the forthcoming EVE Frontier.

“This landmark product launch on Bridge connects Sui’s native assets directly to global commerce, fintech, and traditional financial rails, establishing Sui as the driver of the next phase of onchain economic activity. We are building a self-sustaining, utility-driven ecosystem where stablecoin economics fuels real-world adoption,” said Adeniyi Abiodun, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Mysten Labs, the original contributor to Sui.

“USDsui adds another crucial piece of infrastructure that fully leverages the performance and scalability of the Sui Network, augments its existing native stablecoin offerings and gives developers and users a trusted digital dollar that leverages Sui’s unparalleled performance.”

The asset is intended to comply with the GENIUS Act when it takes effect. Further, any revenues that flow to Sui will be reinvested directly into the ecosystem in the form of growth and investment programs.

“Open Issuance eliminates the usual complexity and extended timelines associated with stablecoin deployment,” said Zach Abrams, co-founder and CEO of Bridge. “It’s designed exactly to enable platforms like Sui to launch their own stablecoins quickly and efficiently, and we’re excited to see what developers will build on top of USDsui.”

A Network Ready for a Stablecoin Explosion

Sui is already one of the most active blockchain networks for stablecoin usage. Between August and September 2025 alone, the network processed a combined $412 billion in stablecoin transfer volume, a clear signal of both demand and readiness for a dedicated native solution with compliant yield-generation in the U.S.

With the introduction of USDsui, that infrastructure now includes a unified stablecoin designed to scale with the ecosystem, meet regulatory expectations, and support both developers and users with a seamless experience.
