The community has long-asked for Phantom wallet support, now that time has come. Today, SUI is officially supported on the industry-leading non-custodial multichain cryptocurrency wallet. Phantom’s 15 million monthly active users can now access SUI within their wallets, making Sui the only Move-based chain and the third Layer 1 fully supported on the platform.

Sui made waves as one of the fastest-growing Layer 1 blockchains in the industry’s history, thanks to its object-centric model that makes asset ownership fast, secure, and accessible to everyone. With this integration, Sui users on Phantom can now:

  • Send, receive, and manage their SUI in one intuitive interface
  • Access tokens like BLUE and SEND built on the Sui token standard
  • Effortlessly swap SUI with thousands of tokens, including Sui-based assets
  • Access decentralized applications such as Suilend, Navi, Aftermath, Bluefin

Founded in 2021, Phantom has quickly become one of the industry’s most popular wallets. In 2024, it saw 850 million transactions while offering innovative features to its users, including in-app token swaps, NFT storage, staking, and seamless multichain integration. The integration reflects Phantom’s commitment to fostering a multichain future and offers users within the Solana ecosystem the opportunity to easily explore Sui's unique blockchain and obtain a Sui address.

“When we transformed Phantom into a multichain wallet in 2023, we did so with the commitment that only the most capable chains would be integrated into the app,” said Brandon Millman, CEO of Phantom. “Sui’s focus on scalability and its superior user experience aligns perfectly with Phantom's goal of making crypto accessible for everyone.”

Since the start of 2024, Sui has climbed into the top 10 by Total Value Locked (TVL), hitting over $2 billion on January 4, 2025 locked in its ecosystem. Sui has also become the second-largest destination for Ethereum outflows on Wormhole, reflecting significant trust from the broader crypto community. The Phantom integration follows the recent success of Suilend—an evolution of the Solana-native Solend protocol.

“The launch of Sui as the first Move-based chain on the Phantom Wallet validates what the community has accomplished in the past year,” said Christian Thompson, Managing Director of the Sui Foundation. “Sui’s time has arrived, and it is clear that the ecosystem is ready to onboard the next billion users into crypto.”

Phantom is available as a mobile app for iOS and Android, and as a browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave. Learn more about using SUI on Phantom.
