With more than 4,000 attendees, the SuiFest transformed Singapore into a hub of connection for the Sui community. ## Bitcoin unlocked The activities began with _Bitcoin Unlocked: BTCfi on Sui_, a focused summit exploring the future of Bitcoin and how Sui can securely and directly utilize Bitcoin in a composable, reliable [BTCfi](https://sui.io/btcfi-bitcoin-defi-on-sui) ecosystem. [Mysten Labs](https://www.mystenlabs.com/) discussed a major step toward expanding Bitcoin to Sui, a native Bitcoin custody and wallet solution. Being secured by the Sui validator set, this solution will create a trust-minimized way to unlock BTC from the Bitcoin network, directly on Sui. The summit also featured discussions on BTCfi’s growing traction, supported by fresh [analytics from Dune](https://x.com/Dune/status/1973017505976500335), showing daily volumes of BTC-backed assets consistently between [$15–20 million USD since July](https://dune.com/insights4vc/btcfi-protocol-level). ## From the mainstage At the SuiFest Mainstage, attendees heard directly from builders and leaders shaping the network’s evolution. A standout discussion brought Mysten Labs’ [Adeniyi Abiodun](https://x.com/EmanAbio/) together with Edison Chen, Co-Founder of [CUDIS](https://blog.sui.io/cudis-longevity-protocol/), and Ben Putley, CEO of [Alkimi](https://blog.sui.io/alkimi-fixing-the-broken-ad-ecosystem/), to discuss how projects across healthcare, data analytics, and advertising are leveraging the [Sui Stack](https://x.com/SuiNetwork/status/1966195364970823858) to coordinate trust and ownership at scale.  This blend of curiosity and execution was felt through all conversations at the event. SuiFest wasn’t about announcements as much as it was about showcasing the conviction the ecosystem has to grow, and how much has already taken shape. ## New launches and expanding foundations Several major ecosystem milestones were celebrated during the week, highlighting Sui’s growing role as a full-stack platform for decentralized coordination: - [suiUSDe](https://blog.sui.io/suig-ethena-suiusde-stablecoin/) launched through a partnership between [SUIG](https://suig.io/) and [Ethena Labs](https://ethena.fi/), introducing a yield-bearing, dollar-denominated digital asset on Sui. - [OVERTAKE](https://overtake.world/?ref=blog.sui.io) officially debuted its [in-game digital asset trading system](https://blog.sui.io/overtake-in-game-digital-asset-trading/), bringing seamless ownership and exchange to [Sui gaming](https://suiplay.sui.io/). - [Citadel Wallet](https://www.citadelwallet.io/) revealed [Suiball](https://www.suiball.com/), a hardware wallet [built uniquely for Sui](https://blog.sui.io/citadel-suiball-native-hardware-wallet/), with attendees able to test the device and pre-order it on site at a discount. - [Enoki 2.0](https://x.com/Mysten_Labs/status/1973644705033507288) went live with updates including portable [zkLogin](https://sui.io/zklogin) wallets, deeper [SuiNS](https://suins.io/) integration, and a simplified pricing model, making it easier for builders to onboard new users. Together, these releases painted a picture of an ecosystem evolving into something greater, one now extending from innovation onchain to broader market visibility, momentum reflected in the earlier news that [Coinbase is launching SUI futures](https://x.com/SuiNetwork/status/1974187827757003171) on October 20th. ## Building, playing, and connecting in Sui Park While the mainstage drew the spotlight, much of SuiFest’s spirit and fun thrived offstage at Sui Park. Being able to chat openly with builders, founders, and key ecosystem members made the event feel less like a conference and more like a gathering of old and new friends. ## Shark in The Sui Tank Later in the day, Sui Park turned into something entirely different: The Sui Tank. In a playful nod to _Shark Tank_, builders from across the Sui ecosystem pitched their ventures live to [Adeniyi Abiodun](https://x.com/EmanAbio/), [Kevin O’Leary](https://x.com/kevinolearytv), and [Kostas Chalkias](https://x.com/kostascrypto/), each with the ability to award $10,000 on the spot. It was a day of genuine interaction with builders showing their work and community members meeting face-to-face. In the days that followed, that same energy carried forward online through recaps, interviews, and videos, as the community kept the discussions going.
